David Bunker has spent most of the past 15 years reporting or editing Truckee–Tahoe stories. A former newspaper editor, reporter and freelancer magazine writer, David grew up in California but graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. He currently spends most of his time ferrying his children to sporting events, with the occasional adventure mixed in—like a recent week-long walk of a portion of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain.
