Sylas Wright is the editor-in-chief of Tahoe Quarterly magazine. Sylas grew up in the central Sierra Nevada near Shaver Lake and graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in print journalism in 2005. He began his journalism career as sports editor at a Truckee newspaper and has remained in the area ever since. When he’s not in the office, you can find him on the trails, slopes or shorelines around Truckee and Lake Tahoe, likely with his wife and young son.
